Tire Ware
I am thinking about getting a Z. How many miles do you all get with the stock tires? How much do the tires cost to replace. I am just wandering how much maintance is going to cost, because this would be my daily driver. Thanks for the help.

Well depends on the year as far as the tire wear issues goes mine had 17k miles and were still fine just loud and got replaced free by nissan. My Z has been great to me has had a small amount of issues but all were taken care of under warranty. Don't hesitate to own this amazing car it wont let you down!

+1 I agree the Z is a GREAT car. Don't let something like this make the decision for you, the Z has so many things to offer. But I guess when you think high performance you think high maintenance...I've only got 5k on my 2005 so I can't speak from experience. But from what I've read in the maintenance schedule it's nothing above normal. Tire wear seems regular, but that would depend on your driving style. Good luck.

If you are concerned with tire wear and spending cash on tires, Im not to sure a sports car is for you. Although, for my rear tires, they had 14k miles on them and still had plenty of tread left. The fronts were feathered after 10k miles but replaced by nissan. I say get it for you daily driver, it will give you a smile evrytime you start the engine. Only negative impact on my pocket book is mods and the extra miles I drive. See after waxing the Z and getting it all pretty, I find my self taking the long way home every single time, just so I can cruise a bit. hahah BEN

I saw a guy here that had 40K on his OEM's, they did look horrible though.
I say it all depends on driving. You can get probably anywhere from 15K-30K on the OEMs.
Oh and my wife is having a Tupper WARE party this weekend, all Z owners are invited, !
