WTF! Paint coming off both mirrors!
Man i feel sorry for you reds, but hey at least you don't have to pay extra for the paint, like this years interlagos fire costs extra from dealer like a spoiler or tint for example....wierd they would charge almost 1000 just for a new brick on the block....when the daytona blue looks good as hell stock along with the other colors i like all shades of silver, silverstone being the most common, did year 03 have to pay extra for the liq aluminum paint? IF so how does it it differ from this years 06 silver alloy??
I could be wrong but any shade of red from any dealer seems to be susceptable to fade. Nissan seems to be worse in this area. Mine do the same thing and I am going to have to get them repainted at some point in time.

Why if it's that they are enamel one coat whatever, is it only the red cars? I know red is susceptible to UV fading, but it should have no impact on the paint coming off the car.
