I bought the real simple silver Z keychain off ebay. Dont like anything big or dangling in the car, so I keep just that, the car key and remote on my keychain.

Yes, you most definitely could replicate the ridge pattern in the key from a picture if you had the time/materials/inclination to do so. What you can't replicate is the RF chip in the plastic housing of the key that gets queried when you start your car. Devious thinking though....I like it!!!

Why do you always have to make your answer better then mine? Mine was simple and correct, but then you have to come in and go into details.

Same here, except I have an extra ring that I have been too lazy to take off. the dealer used it for something last time I took the car in for service.

Haha! Now I have your key shape and I will make a copy, find out where you live, get the vin, give the dealership that to make me another key and then steal your car!! Haha! Ok, that's not even worth it...

Mine are just the regular silver. I actually thought about the bronze too, but did not think I could pull that look off, lol.

It's from the movie "Better Off Dead", the charactor's name is "Lane Myers". If I remember right, he drives a sweet '69 Chevy SS ( correct me if I am wrong ) and races the bad guy from Karate Kid II...

Really good movie BTW...

I've got a key ring from the dealer that's shaped like a gold bar. it looked pretty classy the first couple weeks and then the gold started coming off. Just like everything else you get from the dealer a piece of SH*T. Dealers suck!
