to buy or not to buy??!!!??!!?? Z
what's up errrrvryone? i'm new to the forum so i'm saying a little hello whilst i ask for some of your opinions.
i went to the dealer today and looked at an 04M/T blue touring model. they also had 05 white & black touring models. all 3 being coupes. the best deal i could get on the 04 was 29100 with me paying my own taxes and tags. the car is a touring model "new" and the only add ons are the floor mats and splash guard things.
so, my questions are:
1. would this be considered a good deal?
2. should i go with the touring model at all?
3. curious if you can turn off the tcs (all for fun)?
4. it has frost leather interior which is not my favorite, and all i can wonder is how damn hard will it be to keep clean?!?!?!?!?!?!
thanks all, any opinions would be appreciated and anything i should know before buying a Z would also be great!!

Unless you clearly prefer the blue or there is a substantial price difference (say over $2000), I'd get one of the 05s. Reason: less probablity of issues such as feathering occuring.
Yes, $29 Gs is a good price for a touring model.

that's it... 2000. the car is just about 2K below invoice which makes it i think a good deal, but not a great deal. i guess the 06's will be out soon enough, i could wait and see what kind of deal they can come up with on a new one.
29100 is way above invoice though for a 2004 Touring 6MT Z. How many miles does it have? Cause the invoice of the car should be somewhere from 24-25,000.

the car has 700 miles on it, the invoice on it is 31,143. Nissan offered a $2000 dealer to factory rebate on the 04 Z's. so that would put me right at 29100 or thereabouts. i really think i should be able to buy it for 28000 otd, but no can do from the stealership. the more i read, the more i enjoy this site & the more i think i may just buy an enthusiast 06.
i really like the daytona blue, will they have this color again for 06. I like the leather of the touring but i don't need it, i also noticed that the doors allready had dirty prints on them. the frost interior has to be hard to keep looking good.?

Lol gotta love how dealers jack up prices... man you can get the Z for much cheaper iam telling ya, i got payed invoice for my 05 Z back in december. Which is just a grand more then they are telling you. You should def be able to get 28000 otd w/ tags and everything. Start looking around and show better prices.
