Good point. Ask the same question at the Bimmer site, get a different answer.

That being said, the Z is way more fun, also a few bucks cheaper.

These two cars can't be compared. A better comparison would be the G35 and the BMW 330. If that was the case I'd be pimping a G35.

I am turning my leased 328Ci sport 5spd after 3 great years with the car for a new 350 due in Feb. I loved the 328Ci, just looking to get back into a "true" sports car. I have owned 2 other Z's in the past. My brother bought my last '94. I rode in it a month ago and it brought back so many memories. I feel like I am coming home, but I will miss the BMW.

BMW knows how to build a driver's car. I will miss the customer service, the awesome loaners, the radio buttons on the wheel, the Harmon Kardon sound and a couple of other little things. I was looking at a Z4 when I ordered the Z, but the priced it too high. The Z is almost exactly what I am looking for. If it had a sunroof and the Infinity dealer experience it would be PERFECT. Oh well, sometimes you have to make sacrifices!

I forgot to say, when I begin to miss the Bimmer I will sign up for the BMW Ultimate Test Drives and the Ultimate Driving Experience events!

They are awesome!!

What do you guys think?
I rejected a 330Ci for the Z. As a matter of fact, I rejected an M3 for the Z, the 330Ci was my 2nd choice. I'm glad I did.

Hmmm, sounds to me that you are a pretty good candidate for the G35 coupe. Has all of the above mentioned. Regards, Jim
