Or pay $25 for a gigabyte worth of space and unlimited bandwidth.

I did the free Photobucket for about two months and found it was a great service and worth $25 a year.

The only thing I want to mention is please don't spread the fallacy of "unlimited bandwidth" as it's not possible and no provider offers it for a fixed price. They actually term it "unmetered" but there isn't a provider that doesn't monitor and limit bandwidth. Photobucket is somewhat rare in the fact that they actually state they meter and limit the bandwidth right next to saying it's unmetered (the little question mark)...
Photobucket.com monitors bandwidth usage. If you are using excessive bandwidth of more than 10 times the average premium account (approx 10,000 megabytes), we reserve the right to contact you to work out a resolution.
That resolution will be... you paying more money.

I didn't know that ... 10 gigabytes would be a bunch of photos on web sites I would think. I'm running 590 Mb and have pictures posted in a lot of places.

I clicked on the question mark ...

Premium accounts do not have bandwidth limitations. You are allowed 1,500 megabytes of bandwidth per month for free accounts. This is approx 30,000 direct links and resets each month on the day you registered.
Yikes.

Yes, it's quite a bit (quite possibly more than you'll ever use), however it is metered and limited, despite what it says on the feature list. Regardless of the provider this is always the case, even if it says or you are told otherwise. I just like to make sure people are aware of this whenever possible.
