Default Ouch!

I am truly sorry to see what happen to your Z. That is my biggest nightmare. Yesterday I seen a Z at a burger king, he/she had it parked across two spots in the front row. After I seen that, I said to myself that I will never do that. It just brings to much attention to the car, it brings enough on it's own. I think the best way to go about this, is just to not think about it and just enjoy the car. If someone wants to do it, they will do it. There is nothing we can do about it. It is to bad their are such jealous people out there. Please post the pic when it is fixed. Good luck..

I totally agree.
Taking up two spaces brings attention.
Parking far away from everyone else is going to provok a f***wit to damage your car 'coz no one is around.

Just drive it and don't care, that's why you pay insurance.

I agree that the best defense is to remain incognito, if at all possible. When given the choice between door dings and real damage caused by some vandalizing a-hole, the logical choice is door dings. Its unfortunate, though. Its a shame that some people have to care that much. Sometimes there isn't anything you can do. I agree about the insurance. That's why we pay for it. Still, I'd like to set up the cameras and actually catch someone if they did something. Cops eat that stuff up and they'd be happy that they wouldn't have to say, "there's not much we can do".

Angry My plans...

Guys and gals:

I'm now officially running from President of the United States. The first thing I plan on doing as president is gather up all Z HATERS and push them out of a helicopter into a volcano

I don't know about my other plans as president, but I think the first one is the most important one

....So don't forget to vote for PERUCHO

You got my vote, Perucho.

Jason, thanks for the tip on the other theaters, my girl shoulda suggested something (she lives up there as you well know) but I'll be damned if I valet!! Haven't you read all the horror stories man?

And I'd never double park, that's asking for trouble, but you'd think they'd leave you alone if you're far away...now I guess I'll just park right up front and continue the quest for end spots. Bleh. Death to haters!!

I'll post pics as soon as it's fixed. I plan on going with the dealer to get it repaired, of course.

If they kicked it, which it looks like they did it would not matter, the rubber on the shoes is a insulator from the shock....

Hey, that sucks though.... I have done the same thing when I have gone to those huge movie theaters, I might change my mind now, especially when I move to Dallas. If I would have seen them, I would have brutally beat them for you, sorry man....

Actually, the synthetic compound on the bottom of shoes doesn't insulate nearly enough. In fact, my company requires grounding straps on shoes while in the factory to prevent static discharge because of this very reason.

No wonder I'm afraid to park my Z anywhere but in the garage...
It's a comp loss, misc. vandalism so at least you're not out a deductible. That's the only silver lining in this quagmire ...
Very sorry!!

Old Skooler

I had someone hit the rear bumper of my 350Z parked in a mall as well. Cost my $600 CDN to get it fixed, didn't go through insurance though.

Looks very nice now though.

It sucks man

Default a real bummer..........

I'm real sorry this happened to you. Hope you get it fixed soon. The behavior of some people is just pathetic. Who knows what might have happened if you had caught them doing this!?! I'd say one or both of you would have gotten hurt. At least it was only your car.

Anyway, keep us posted on your repair and if you find out who might have done this.

Hang in there.

Matt,

I am really sorry to read about this. I hope everything works out ok with the body work. Keep us posted.

We haven't even had the chance to see it yet.

I think we all need to have a Texas-wide 350Z meet soon. Maybe after Michael gets the body kit finished.

Seattle/vinz,

In Texas, if you catch someone in the act of stealing your vehicle, you are allowed to use deadly force to protect your property. There was actually a very unfortunate case of a Repo guy getting killed while trying to reposess a vehicle without telling the owner first.

Bad call this time, as someone got jealous and decided I didn't need a perfect car, so they kicked/hit/did SOMETHING to my damn Z, and now it looks like this. Filed a report with the Dallas police, but of course nothing will come of it. I'm calling my insurance company today. What really bums me is I didn't do anything! Someone just had to gimme some hate. Probably a good thing I didn't see the person, as I'd be in jail right now. Goddamn haters sippin' on haterade.....
maybe you should try the ding king hehehe
