Sounds like a good plan!!!! There are just so many people that are into amassing excessive money for no apparent reason.

Not me. I want to amass it for now, and then spend it later. If I spend my last penny on the last day of my life, I will be perfectly happy.

Bean, your Zzz is abit far out there for me but it is one fine, fine looking machine!!

For me:

$31,000 Purchase
1,650 stero
1,100 tires, install, align
500 routine maintenance
$34,250 Total

Bought car in 12/02

That's cool....I can live with "far out". Back in the day, that was a compliment!

I could use some advice on the 350z. Ive only had mine for about 2 months from a dealer and love it to bits. It has no sat nav (only the '54 compartment) and the GT kit (i.e. full dash bose system).

Apart from tinting, I have no idea where to start modding.
I traded in a maserati for it and love the idea of decent dvd ICE that i had before,
but don't know where I should lay my first pounds and pence (I am in the UK).

29k for the car incl. tax, 3.5k on wheels and tires, 210 on the suspension, 800 for dedicated winter tires, 600 in the stereo while retaining OEM HU + 100 to sound dampen the entire car, 400 on clearbra, 1400 on engine mods. Total... 7k in mods.

I'm a DIYer so that saved some $$$. I couldn't be happier with looks and exotic sound of my Z

Right around 10K in mods for me. That includes the winter plans, but then again that's not much so I just counted it all in. Only another 10K to go, and i'll be happy for, ummm, a day....

It's a little off. Unfortunately, I see a lot of the bumpers on the Z's are a little off.

This one was repainted as you can see since it as an aftermarket body kit.
I would have expected the body shop to get it a bit closer. I would have had them redo it. Heck, I would still have them redo it or try to color sand etc....

But, nice body kit though. That paint would drive me crazy.
Maybe it is only is that light?
I have a similar issue with my car. However, I didn't notice the difference for over a year so I guess it isn't that bad.
