Enthusiast!
Fewest options possible with the LSD, it's all about the weight.

you're only talking about 50 lbs. difference from enth. to touring....not too much weight difference.

Even tho we have a touring(mainly my wife's car, she wanted the leather). I would have to say, for the most bang for your buck, it would have to be an Enthusiast also.

50lbs, and about 5-7k less at the time.

I can get my enthusiast down to under 3050, and I'm hoping when we weight this week it'll be at 3000lbs, we'll see how close to that number we get though.

'05 Track here.

My Z is for week-end getaways and lapping and I didn't want to mod the car.

Leather seats are not good for hard cornering.
I wanted the Brembo brakes, lighter wheels also.

And I wanted the rev-up engine (wich won't be an issue next year).

Touring here. I think I got the touring because of an article I read where they test drove a track for a year and then they switched to a touring and mentioned that they should have got the touring since the ride was smoother.

I knew I wasn't going to track my car, so the Touring was what I went with.

The leather seats just always works on girls. The electric moving buttons just oooos and awwws them more And for some reason, they love the heated seats. It's all about getting the girls.

The navigation has helped me out a lot of time. I didn't think I would use it that much, but I nearly use it everyday. (I'm looking for a new home)

I have a touring. It's the car I test drove and it was also the last 2004 left on the lot which was full of 2005's. I got a great deal on it. I'm happy with it.

Touring here. I was at a cross between a Z and G35 which is more on the luxory side (and I was looking for something a little more luxory). I liked the looks of the Z better so I tried to get the best of both worlds. The luxory model Z (if you want to call it that) was the right choce for me. Love the Navi too.

I was dead set on getting a Z with cloth, until I sat on the cloth and despised it. (So I got a touring).

The 06's have a new material for the cloth seats though, you might want to check out the track when they hit the dealerships.
