I was thinking about the first F&F and what it did for the value of the supra. there was a 10% increase in value of the supra after production of that movie cause every kid wanted one and the ric ones could afford it.

He's trolling the Drifting boards offering $$ to people for their cars..
if he wants to make Movie garbage.. then he's gotta do it himself.

Im happy its coming out because I have a project 240 w/ CA18 and if people want to go drifting they will spend the money and I can jack my car up to $5k when I probably spent less then 3 grand building this car.

like every other f&f all the cars will be NA even in the 1st one the supra were all na minus 1 and the dsm na, evo was a ralliart with wing, eclipse was gay, never had a legit FI car throughout the movies. even the motor they were "building" in the first one wasa show motor from supra store just meant to sit there and look pretty.

There could be a bad element in the movie of drifting on the street and someone gets hurt or killed. It would nice to see how they portray the Japanese culture and even give them a little Hollywood coolness. It would go a long way in the US-Japan association.
We might actually learn something from Hollywood. Hollywood is full of messages in their movies. Why not a couple good messages of kids just want to have fun? Then maybe the tracks will be profitable and people will be safer.
Just my .02.
Ah, I remember the day well .......

Half the people on this post are saying these movies suck, but I bet all of us are going to watch it. So Universal makes their money anyways.
Hollywood is never going to be accurate with our car culture. It would be too boring. Hey dude, let's go cruise to the car meet, and stand around and talk about cars. Meanwhile there are like 1-2 girls for every 10-15 guys in the parking lot. Then when we get home we post pictures online and talk on the forums. Then we go to the race track to race! Add a couple of parts here there over the course of a few years. Very exciting!
I personally find these movies entertaining even though they're not realistic and portray things wrong. It would be a documentary if they made it like real life.
Flame me =)

Roll Bounce star Bow Wow tells Zap2it that he'll star in Universal Pictures' Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo, the third installment in the franchise.
"Me and Lucas Black are actually starring in that movie," he says. "It's gonna be hot and different. My first action movie, so it's gonna be great."
Directed by Justin Lin (Better Luck Tomorrow) and written by Chris Morgan (Cellular), the film is set in the sexy, underground world of Japanese drift racing where the newest and fastest customized rides go head-to-head on some of the most perilous courses ever seen.
"It starts filming in the first week of October," Bow Wow adds. "After [promoting 'Roll Bounce'] I go to Europe for a week and then I'm back over here for three and a half months. Then we're over in Tokyo and Japan for three and half weeks

anyone notice that there is like 1 asian for both movies
first one was all white ppl and 1 asian
2nd was def all black
when do you see a black ''thug'' driving a purple eclispe?
and why did paul walker talk black
sad to see the big cultures take away the asianness in the cars and import scene
even though most nice imports are owned by white people.
o and before the 1st movie
i was planning on buying a supra tt for 25k
now its more like 40k
honestly if you ask all the asian people on the scene
they despise these movies with mucho hateo and how it impacted
and why the f is bow wow starring in it????
doesnt he like spinners and cadillacs type stuff
who cares if its not mainstream or they cannot act
not like paul walker or vin deisel can act
they are horrible
i can act better then them
the best way to make a good movie about import cars. is to keep it real
honestly when an asian person has the chance to direct a movie
he should try to help the asian brothers out. but noooo he sold out to mainstream and how people view asians as only ching chong kung fu flicks
if i saw that justin lin guy. id beat the bricks off him
btw he sucks and that movie he directe sucked too
