You can order a cooler "Fairlady Z" emblem from Performance Nissan, it doesn't cost much. To me at least it looks cooler.

You can also get the 350Z or Fairlady Z Emblem from eBay....might be less expensive than a Nissan dealer....I've seen both on eBay and they appear to be authentic, IMO.

You can reuse the part if you use high tack double-sided tape and trim it nicely with a razor.

On this topic..how hard is it to apply these types of things? And to remove? Any faqs' on them? Also, Jason, I want to get a "nismo" sticker for the rear (white or silver, i have SB)...whats the best kind and is it easily applied?

Thanks...this has always been something boggling me.

the emblem letters use simply double-sided tapes. easy to apply them and easy to take off (with your hands but be careful).

they come in a foam aligner... all you have to do is align it with the rear hatch...

Now whats that orange stuff there, is it to match the paint? Or is it just the sticky tape..

that's not orange.. it's a red tape keeping the letters aligned, although most of the time the letters aren't aligned to begin with... so you might wanna do them by hand.

What does the FairladyZ mean? I'm new to the 350z so pardon my ignorance.

Fairlady is the name of the Z used in Japan. Just the JDM name for our 350Z if I'm not mistaken.
