Default Hot 350Z

I know the 350 is hot but I didn't know it would be so hot inside. I have a 03' Gray 350 Touring with about 18,000 miles. It has leather seats that warm up. When I'm driving, it seems like it's hotter in the car than it is outside. Is it the engine, or the heated seats burning my ***? I drive without the A/C because it's not a G35 so if you know what's up, let me know.

Heated seats can be turned on or off. Leather always gets hotter than cloth.

Why don't you use the A/C?

Man, this whole summer I used A/C because I thought I drove a G35. I wish I had this information sooner. Now I can tell everyone I drive a Z instead. Whew, good call lexmounkhaty.

I was actually just thinking about this today too...my car was damn hot when I got inside of it(until I cranked the AC). Apparently NY is the new Arizona, but with humidity...guess that would make it Texas?

Yeah, I don't understand it either. So only G35's can use AC? I missed that in the user's manual, damn. Better re-read.

Uhh, yeah. It's going to be hotter inside than outside if you don't use A/C. Turn on the A/C. On the other hand, if you ARE using it and it's still damn hot after a while, there may be something wrong. I'm in florida and driving around during the mid day sun. It gets cool enough inside.

My Z's A/C is one of the best I've owned. No complaints.

The reason is two fold. The Z's interior is smaller so it superheats a lower volume. I have cloth seats, dark tinted windows, and use a sunshade. The sunshade alone knocks out about 20-30 degrees. If I don not use it we fry like bacon when we come back to the car after shopping in the summers heat. If the shade is on it makes quite a bit of difference.

The shade I have is silver on one side and black with geckos on the other. In the winter I reverse the shade to keep the car a little warmer and to ward off the frost.
