I have an 03Z with 26K miles on it. Anyway, about a year ago i took it to the dealership complaining about a 3rd gear grind. I explained that it did it when i would downshift into 3rd around 60MPH. They were "unable" to duplicate the problem and returned the car to me explaing that i shouldnt be trying to downshift into 3rd at 60MPH. I was like WTF? my car will do 90 in 3rd!! A year goes by, i keep driving it like normal, grind and all, and its gotten worse. It will grind downshifting into 3rd at 40MPH now. It will grind upshifting into 3rd now as well. I took it back the dealership this week and explained that if they couldnt duplicate the problem, then i definitely can and someone can ride with me.

They called me later in the day and said they were ordering me a new transimission and a clutch as well!!!

 

sweet...congratZ...ask them if they can give you the parts and you install yourself, and take it home and sell it and get you get yourself better parts...haha
