Yes (to the Nismo exhaust). You'll like it. It's an awesome car! The STI is awesome too, but RWD is fun in it's own way, . Welcome to the site!

The G went to the Rev Up motor before the Z. The 06 will redline at 7K.

Default Are you sure that you're making the right decision?

Do you want do go around explaining to your friends why you bought a car that is fat and slow. Think about it?

Haha. Yeah, when I decided I wanted a Z I went out and bought all the car magazines I could and went to the nissanusa.com website and checked everything out. I was an expert before I ever drove one.

Geez guys is this how we treat new people! Lighten up and give the guy a break.

Welcome to the forum! I would wait for the 06's if you are not worried about the price difference. All 06 manuals have the 300 HP engine, 18"s wheels, different headlights, LED tailights, different front grill, some minor interior changes, and audio controls on the steering wheel. To me its worth the wait.

Put your STI up for sale here, lots of folks would be interested!

the 06, as you probably know, has new appearances inside and out. personally, i think the front headlight blubs look too big. but more importantly, all 06 350z's with a manual transmission will have 300 hp and a 7000 rpm redline (and a more even torque curve than the 05, but the 05's peak torque is higher). as for the 05, you will get 287 hp and 6600 redline unless you get a 35th anniversary edition or a grand touring model.
