06's delivered to Performance NISSAN... Initial Findings...

Sorry Jason, there's only 1 dealer in town :-(
They won't fix it (leak issue). I just got my car back today, and I got the usual answer: "There's nothing wrong with your transmission." My dad drove it home and told me there's nothing wrong with it either. Returning home after dropping my dad off to get his car, I got stuck getting in 2nd and it started grinding while the clutch was still down. Clutch pedal in and out, I forced it in enough I finally got in despite the hard grind. They think it's the way I drive and how I shift. I've driven other cars, RSX-S being the latest, and I never grinded or killed the motor! I was a newb when I first got the car and rarely grinded (only driver error for sure!). Now, at 22k miles, I'm grinding alot more than before. When it happens, it's when I try to get in gear while the clutch pedal is all the way down. So it's not premature release of the pedal. So far it's 2/3/5 that's grinding the most. In the end... no fix.
As for the Toyos, I know it's going to wear on the inside. I still have the feathering issue because of the loud roar at low speeds. It turns out the alignment was done before the new specs were released. My friend at a shop even noticed one wheel was more straight than the other, so one was wearing out quicker than the other.
Also, the techs tried to say there's nothing wrong with the outside passenger door handle, and that it wasn't squeeking. My dad argued and showed it in front of them, and finally convinced them to get a new handle.
So I don't know anymore, many people here have similar issues and it doesn't convince anyone here. They think it's just me! :-(

Toyo's wear out quick when they have any negitive camber on them... even on a 2006 Z that has the same negitive camber up fron you will still get inner tire wear... but inner tire wear is different then feathering... there is a way to rotate your tires on the Z that help prolong the life of the tires...

How much bigger are the new rotors? How much more clamping force do the new calipers have verses the non-brembo calipers? I might have missed this info but I swear I read all 4 pages up to now
Thanks for all your hard work Jason. I'm sure everyone here REALLY appreciates it.

I wonder if between-seats piece of paneling can be retrofited to '03. With buttons moved forward. I hate so much buttons under my elbow, where I can't see them, but can switch them on accidentally.
