If you were to buy these items seperately, then it would easily run you about 2500-2700. I wanted TCS, HID's, LSD.

zand02max listed the extra features. The question is not are they worth $2,000 to me, but are they worth $2,000 to you?

I forgot to add the biggest feature, CRUISE CONTROL and audio controls on 06 models above the base model! A must for those long trips!

How about the Enthus vs Performace is the Performance worth the extra 2k?

The only difference I can see is 18' wheels over 17's and VDC, whatever that is most people don't even like it.

I think I'm going to get a new Enthus, how much you think I can get an 06 Enthu for, or should I try to snag and 05 for a better deal?

If you don't care about the rim size, then no. Get Enthusiast.

Alright, that's been my biggest peeve with the '06 specs everywhere I look. Everything above Base has always had VDC. What does Touring+VDC even mean? Does the regular Touring NOT have VDC any more? What the heck is going on? I am pulling my hair

I have vanity mirrors on my '04 base. I don't like HID's you don't get the definition you get with regular lights. I use H7 Bulbs, High beam and AUX lights to get the light up the road. I have a Nismo LSD with 3.90 gears. I have installed the nicer pedals from the upgrade models for $100. Most of the guys I race with have to disable the TCS / VDC by disconnecting a plug under the console or pulling the fuse for the VDC.and TCS. They like the Base for this reason. Even when you turn off the TCS it engages under excessive wheel spin and doesn't allow for good burnouts / control a racer is looking for.

For $1300 more over the price of the Base I will ended up with a better LSD, gears and pedals that I like. Therefore, at $700 less, I prefer the Base Coupe.

I do not like the cruise control in the steering wheel it makes the car look unbalanced. Just my opinion on the cruise control. Heck who needs cruise control on the track, in the mountains or around town. For me that is where 95% of my driving is. But, it is important to know that it is very difficult and not worth it to install cruise control after market. If you need cruise control go with the Enthusiast model.

my .02
