nope. I have cameras where i work but i park so far away bc its mad door dings near the building and the parking spaces are small. Plus we have literally had people walk up and smash the windows of people cars even with the camers on them! The problem was that its on my rear passeger side so it could have been there for days and i didnt notice. Although im pretty sure i know when it happened.

 

HAHA.. Compliment, but also just a fact... If you drive a hot car, it will be messed with, unless you have something about the car that ensures whoever could potentially mess with your car can NOT relate to you. For example, I got an M3 when I was 22. I knew that most people my age would hate me for having this car, however if I kept the car the way an older guy would keep it, maybe nobody would mess with it. I was right. No spoiler, no window tint = no idiots screwing with it.

You have to keep in mind what kind of person messes with cars for no good reason. Its just some jealous a-hole, but usually male, usually between the age of 20 and 35. Past 35 people quit being like that. If they see a new looking Z, with tinted windows, a wing, and a carbon fiber hood, they know that it belongs to someone their age, and it pisses them off because they can't have anything like it.

 

No matter what u do, those kinds of @ssholes will find you. Just because someone can work theyre tail off to pay for a Z they get to work even harder to pay for vandalism. I was hit a run (it was intentional if u ask me), and now Im $800 poorer because of it. The only thing thats makes me feel better when thinking of that is karma... what goes around comes around, and hopefully those motherf***ers get theirs ten-fold

 

hey man i feel u. i have a sliverstone touring with orange seats and i had it vandalized too. i had my rear emblem stolen and i had a door ding on the passanger side. plus the jack@$$ spilled milk or something all over my hood. i was sooo mad that day

 

hey man i feel u. i have a sliverstone touring with orange seats and i had it vandalized too. i had my rear emblem stolen and i had a door ding on the passanger side. plus the jack@$$ spilled milk or something all over my hood. i was sooo mad that day . i went to the police and filed a report. and it cost me about $400 total to get the emblem and the ding replaced. ever since then i never brought my car back there( it was my old apartment with covered parking). i was sooo mad i broke the lease from the apartment and moved to a new one with a garage. now i know my baby is resting peacefully at night.

 

WHAT IS WITH THIS ****. I have a silverstone with burnt interior that was just keyed last week. Ever since I purchased my volks people have been ****in with it. 2 dings and a HUGE key scratch down the driver side. Fyck college students~!

 

now everytime i go to my car i expect a matching key strike down the other side. Everyone keeps asking me "whod you **** off?" i cant think of anyone but i dont like thinking it was anyone i know either.

 

That is real Fuggered up! Good thing I live in Savannah"Dirty South"! Anyone messes with my ride and your *** is getting Fuggin shot, period!!! Beleive that! Read the papers if you dont, crime "aint" no joke down here! Just a word of advice, look into micro cams that you can install in your cars that record to a hard drive, look on ebay, I know when I get my ride I am getting one to identify the a hole that even considers messin with it.

Z's are indeed being hated.

i go into my friends house for like an hour, and then i see all 4 tires slashed.

the car's body was almost touching the ground, so i couldn't even tow the damn thing.

now this was a week after i got my car.

ok bought a covercraft noah car cover so maybe that will keep the haters at bay. Should be here by friday and thats when i get my car back from the paint shop

 

Maybe its a west coast thing? Why dont you guys move to the east coast?
