I've just begun to notice, (it's hard not to), an intermittent beeping that comes from the dash area. It has no rhyme or reason (which means I'm probably screwed getting it diagnosed/fixed), but is high in pitch and occurs in multiples of 2-3.

It's pitch is higher than the any of the warning sounds and occurs during driving. My warranty ends 9/30. I have an extended warranty, but I'm not sure if it will cover such a thing.

In order to have it properly serviced, I'm sure I'll have to wait until it becomes more regular. None of the guages show anything abnormal.

Any guesses out there?

Hmmmm....puzzling. TPS system maybe? Could it be your security system? Intermittent ground or something? That's weird. Maybe someone left their watch in your dash?

 

I'd get it in to the dealer right away before the 30th.

 

i'd say check your tire pressures. if the pressure drops below ~28psi, you will hear a loud high-pitched alarm while driving. this happened to me when i took delivery of my car. i drove off the lot and was quite startled by the alarm.

if you're still having a problem, get it into the dealer before the warranty runs out. even if they don't find it right away, you will have some documentation that you took it in.

Does your dash have a little (_) like alarm ? That is your tires

28 PSI and below the alarm will go off. If you have three tires at 28 PSI or below you will get three alarms
