Default 2006 Z Showing on Nissan's Site!

Didn't know if anyone had noticed yet, but apparently with the release this morning of pricing, the 2006 Z is now showing up on Nissan's site...

Don't get it. The trim levels listed are the '06 kind, but the big banner up top still says 2005 Z.

AHA! Nissan IS offering a choice between 18" or 19" Nismo wheels! For just $300 more, no guessing what my choice will be!

But no more Nismo front lip? What the heck? I'm irked.

In the full Specs page it says VDC is on the Touring with manual transmission only.

Many of the images are just chops of the old ones. Cheesy.

Thats it, my 05 is officially old

The biggest differences I find are that they got rid of the performance model and added in the grand touring model, they all now come with 18" wheels or larger, and those curb weight, yikes!!! Seems like the brakes got a bit bigger also, which could contribute to the weight, but 150lbs more than the previous Enthusiast? No thanks.

The Touring with auto tranny has NEVER had VDC. VDC only comes on MTs above the Enthusiast.

Ahh...good point. I have only looked at MTs so just assumed that they all had it above Base.

Well I've been waiting to see an Interlagos Fire in person. According to the options I saw a few days ago there seemed to be two types of Interlagos Fire. I think one might have said metalic. My 2004 black only has about 2,350 miles on it but if that Interlagos Fire looks anything like the Brickyard color of the past, then my black is gong to be history. Plus at night or in low light the Interlagos will look black anyway probably.

Does anyone know where you can get a list of the changes made between the model years?
