Question Delievery dates from 12-22-02 onward in the next 2 weeks??

Alright, so who has a delievery date in the next 2 weeks? If so when did you order? Where are you located? I am trying to figure out when the ship must have hit port around here. (East Coast, Charlotte, NC) Any info at all would be appreciated.

Ok, a little update. The Hual Trapper will be in jacksonville port on 12-27 according to the Hual website. Is this information on par with what your delievery dates are?

Default Dec. 28?

I ordered in Oak Ridge, TN, just across the Smokies from Charlotte. It is my belief that my Z will come through the port at Norfolk.

My order went to Nissan on October 2. My dealer told me a week or 2 ago that it was showing a delivery date of Dec. 28, but that it might come early. Now he's saying, "any day", but I think he's just hoping that it comes in by the end of the year so they can get credit for another Z sale.

One thing that might delay it a few days (a week), other than the holidays, is that it will get the aero package. The spoiler will have to be mounted at the port.

How did you find the shipping schedule? Where exactly did you look? Thanks.

www.hualna.com

Go to Schedules -> far east to US -> look at the arrival port/ delievery dates. Our Zs are most likely on the HUAL Trapper. Just what I could figure out from what I have read. Hopefully things speed up some..

My dealer says my Z should be in any day. I ordered it the second week of September, although I doubt the dealer put the order in right away.

Hey man! Not sure if this helps but my ETA is Jan 21st. The NNA rep told me that in general there about a week ahead of "his" ETA. In that case I should be expecting my Z in the middle of January.

My vin number is 108236. He does know that its on the boat right now and from what he saw its due to port around the 10th of January on the east coast. This was not a salesman who gave me the info, I was dealing with a Nissan Consumer Affair specialists. I told me to call him around the 10th on Jan. and he will be able to tell me if its on the way.

Whats your vin? I placed my order with my local nissan back in July and my ordered was not sent in to the factory til November. The specialists also said from the time orders are sent in to the factory it takes on average 3 months before you car reaches the lot. I hope this helps. Peace!

I ordered by Z in late June at Habberstand Nissan, Long Island, NY. The order didn't go in until August 1st I believe. My dealer recently gave me a December 28th delivery date. But who knows. I personally think my Z will be in anytime in the next 30 days. Could be tomorrow, who can say. But I will say that Nissan should have a tracking system (like Dell tracks your computer). And I have not been happy with the long wait for my Z.

EXACTLY! This would be so easy to do. They obviously have to have most of the information anyway in a system of some kind or they couldn't keep up with everything.

I agree on the tracking system idea. The information is already digitized. It wouldn't take much to make it aviable. I mean, UPS manages to do it for every package they send. Thanks for the replies by the way.

Just to clarify, my dealer has also been telling me "any day now" for the past week. He said Nissan is showing a delivery date of the 24th, but he thinks either the 23rd or 26th is more likely. I'll let you all know when it gets here.

BTW: What makes you think that is the ship the Zs are coming over on?

Well we have established that Nissan ships cars from japan here through the shipping co. HUAL. If you look at the schedules for ships coming over on their webiste you can pretty much reasonable deduce that the Trapper is the most likely candidate, being that it is coming from japan, stopping in Houston, Jacksonville, and Norfolk. All known 350z ports. (Except for Houston) Either way thats what I can figure out so far. Also the "deliever by" dates on their website are exactly that, the latest date that the ship will get into port. The way I figure it, If I was a cargo ship captain and it was near xmas time, I'de be hurrying things up a bit for the holidays. Just my idea.

The Ace looks like a better fit to an ETA I know here. A friend is scheduled for 12/28 and it was in Norfolk at 12/21.

I wasn't aware that Prestige also carried nissan vehicles. This is new information. Perhaps our cars are already here...
