This isn't exactly what I wanted to wake up to on a Sunday morning. Why do people feel the need to destroy something that is nice if it isn't theirs? I worked two full time jobs to get the down payment for this car, and this is what happens. The eggs ate through the clear coat and into the paint. I got my Z in september and it needs to be repainted already? ..... I have a sick feeling in my stomach, I really wish I knew who did this.

the real reason is that a large segment of the human population has severe mental problems and have no respect for other people, or property. they are just selfish and f**edup in the ead.

There is no justice for people who disrespect what isn't theirs. It's learned however- from parents, friends, or other examples. Its a damn shame. You just can't be too careful with what you hold dear. In this case, perhaps a garage may have helped, but the sad thing is- its obviously not an isolated incident as seen in other posts on this board. Sad. This is a beautiful car-- only jealousy is this idiotic

Hard to believe what has happened to some of the folk reporting in here.

Hopefully a good paint shop can repair it w/o total repaint.

 

You know someone worked their *** off to get that car. And you go **** it up and totally ruin their day.

With the vandalism I've seen on the Z's, I'm about ready to have it classified as a hate crime. Not that it's the same as racial hatred, etc., but it's obvious that some people damage other people's nice stuff because they hate them for being able to afford it and take care of it. It reminds them of things that, either they can't have or aren't willing to work for.

Seems to me that the root cause of most vandalism is just due to hate: hate the person who has something you don't, hate the school building and what it represents, hate the whatever..........so "I'll show them."

This is totally freakin' ridiculous! What is wrong with today's youth? After the recent string of events, I beginning to think twice about where I take my Z.

Hopefully, everything will even out in the end and these punks will get what they deserve!

 

I've spent the entire weekend cleaning out my garage so I could put my Z in it. With crazy people in the world, I'm not taking any chances.

That's the exact reason I worry every time I take my Z out. I don't know what it is about the Z that just brings out the ugly in some people. I personally have gotten hateful stares from total strangers. They look at me in my Z like they want to kick my a**. There is a guy that I work with that has nice '02 Vette that is constantly challenging me to a race and trying to convince me how much better his car is. Yes, I like his vette but its just not me. I just don't understand, if this guy is so confident in his car, why is he so threatened by my little 'ol V6 powered 350Z. There are just too many haters out there. All we can do is be strong and hope for the best.

Unfortunately there are some real sick people out there that are insanely jealous and who can only feel better themselves only by damaging someone elses property. I know I feel like a mother hen with my Z, shouldn't have to but . . . you know. Good luck and have a good holiday. Your Z will look fine once again.

 

I got my brother who is a car detailer to clean up my Z, he says that it definetly needs to be painted. The sad part is that I can't find a decent paint shop in my area. It seems like I'm a magnet for trouble when it comes to cars. In my previous car (96 Prelude) I had some guy key the hell out of the door and punch off my mirror, he ran like a little girl when he saw me come hauling *** after him. Ever since I got my Z I've been really careful driving it to work so nothing happens to it, and the damn thing gets messed up right in front of my house. I feel so bad for my car right now, what did it ever to anyone? The police actually have a suspect in mind, apparently my car wasn't the only one that was hit up last night. I'm not a violent person, but whoever did this I hope their ***** fall off (that is if they even have any). I thank everyone for their kind words, hopefully I can find a decent paint shop and get my poor car fixed.

 

My condolences man, this crap goes on way too much. I think all we can do as the receivers of this hatred is just don't let it get to us...my car's fixed, it looks new again, and I'm just trying to let it go...they'll get theirs, man. Don't let it get to you.

 

I know that this is off track from an egging like you had, but the FIRST morning i had my Z on my way to work had several ricer fly-by's and jagoffs in little mini sport utility compacts thinking their little kias and rav4s have the ***** to rev past me, then have the nerve to cut me off leaving me barely mere inches of room from taking off my front bumper or pushing me towards a median thinking that suddenly since their rearview mirror is in front of mine that i no longer exist and they want to be in my lane. And then halfway to work, there is a point where 3 lanes merge to 2 and some ghetto scumbag in a rusty old 1st gen eclipse has to rev up from like 10 cars behind me, get right along me and continue keeping pace with me as the lanes merge, neither moving forward so i can get in, nor backing off so i can get in front of him. I resisted sooooooo hard to not rev my engine and throw it over 4000 rpms during my break-in period. I swear that no one is allowed to have nice things without everyone else being out to get you and ruin what you have.

 

We live in a society that will not take action for their lot in life. "I be poor because of where I live, I hate cops because they caught me breaking a law, I don?t like you because you work to get things." Until some people start learning that no one owes them a damn thing in life but the same respect they show to others then we have to live with this crap. Crap like this is done because the parent(s) did not teach their child to respect the property of others. It makes no difference if this was an adult crime it still holds true the parents did not raise their child very well. A lot of you on this site are young; you can make a difference in this world. It starts with the golden rule; Treat others, as you would have them treat you. This means "I don't like to get pi$$ed on, so I will not pi$$ on you." This is not a Christian belief; it is the teachings of all the major religions of our world. Things like this would not happen if we all would live and let live. My apologies for the rant but things like this just set me off.

 

Man, people these days...I too recently was a victim of hate/jealousy. Some focker keyed the driver door about 3 inches long. !!! I know mine will be egged too if i leave it parked outside my house. Happened to my bro's M3 twice!!

 

I spoke with my neighbor earlier today, and he mentioned a black Honda that has been flying through the neighborhood. Supposedly this Honda blows through every night around 10:30 like clockwork. Currently the Z is in the garage, but my brother's 240sx is out on the street. Just as I finished my last post I hear this car hauling *** down the street, I looked out the window and what do I see? A black Honda Civic Hatchback, which came to a crawl right by my brother's car. I immediately bolted down the steps and made it outside but they were gone. I then kneeled down between our 2 cars that sit on the driveway, awaiting the return of the black civic. A half hour passed and I started feeling really strange, I felt like I was the damn night stalker or something. They haven't returned yet, but hopefully they will tomorrow because I'm going to be waiting for them in my brother's car.

I can't believe how many of the new Z's have been getting vandalized. After seeing many posts I thought to myself, I am sure glad this **** doesn't happen around here. The next day look what happened, goes to show it happens to all of us at some point. Hopefully what goes around will come around for these idiots someday.
