When theres ice on the road, even an awd car is going to slide. It doesnt matter what you drive.

I took a look at your Camaro pics and noticed that you have AT. This will make your car heavier, at least by 300 lbs (conservative guess), if you compare to a 6 spd M/T Z.

Even with a standard tranny, the Camaro is wider and heavier than the Z...Now that GM is no longer making the Camaro and Firebird/Trans-Am, you gonna come to the dark side, huh?? LOL

Good luck with your future Z purchase....

How is your post useful or helpful to this thread? It's NOT...it's a waste of space and bandwidth.

They're called SUMMER tires for a reason!

Last year, I ran my Solo II-prepared SpecV in the snow, on all-season tires. It was an absolute blast, and I didn't have any problems with control.

haha yea that sucks. Thats cool you go to roundtop man, I live about 15 minutes from there, I usually go about three times a week. I'm still trying to figure out how you got any kind of boards/skis in the Z? This will be my first winter with my Z...I'm thinking I'll be driving my GMC Jimmy a lot.

Yep, finally got the finances in order to make this dream become reality. Just waiting until the spring to save a little $, and for the snow to be gone.

Davidv, thanks for reminding me of what I have to look forward to

190 cm skis will fit in the 350Z. I had been to Ski Roundtop before with snow on the ground. The Z was OK even if I had to go up the hill to get to the big parking lot. The parking lot was covered in snow and ice, and the Z was fine. That's why the incident above scarred the poop out of me.
