Default going for silver/black look.. Help with orange stuff :-)

Hello all, Got my 20" wheels yesterday and after slapping them on, i don't think i will be able to use the 1.5" lowering springs i bought, so if you want them i'll sell em' for $125

Anyways, about the orange piece up front in the headlight.

I don't really want to just remove it and have a big hole where the bulb is and i don't want to spend the money on the clear diffusers and since i am doing the silver/black scheme with this car, can i do anything to the orange piece? Is there some kind of translucent black tint type spray that would give it a dark smoke look, has anyone painted theirs?

Thanks!

Cheaper? Its only $55 for that strip, IIRC. I had mine apart before they were available and sprayed them with tint and I'm about to order the strips and take them apart again. Just go for the strips, you just bought 20's for your car and dont want to shell out another 50 bucks.

if you really wanted to do it cheaper you can try a spray paint called "night shades". a friend of mine used that to tint his taillights and it worked not bad. but you will still have some amber that will shine through. And it costs like 20 bucks. Really I'd just buy the strips from Ricks for $55. At least you know that when you have your headlights apart you wont have to worry about screwing up the strips and then having to find new ones or something.
