Question Will buying new seats fix the clicking / rocking problem?

Of all the Z's issues, the seat rocking is pissing me off the most. I can't take a light turn without the seat moving. I'm going crazy.

Will buying new seats (bride, momo, ect.) fix this, or is it a problem with the rails???

ps - I have seen the thread on self fixing this problem, but that has failed most times as well.

thanks all

Excuse me but why not let Nissan take care of the problem?

same thing happened to me and i called the dealer, apparantly this is an "adjustment" issue which is only covered the first 12 months or 12K miles. I'm at 15 months and 12050 miles. sucks. i even bought the extended warranty and it's helping me with nothing.

Go to another dealer you have 3yr bumper to bumper that covers everything. I had mine fixed long after 12k.

I will let the dealer check / fix it during it's first scheduled maint. I was wondering because it would be a real b1tch to buy new seats, and have the same issues.

Someone posted detailed instructions on how to do it yourself. I did and my seat never moves now. It is easy.

Agreed. I wonder if the problem is internal to the rails? And the rails cant be opened and repaired.
