My car got abused this weekend
I parked my car at Newark Airport for 4 days in a parking garage next to Terminal C. Today I returned to find my door handle hanging off, windows down and my Alpine headunit missing from the center console. I heard about this before that all you have to do is pry the door handle up and the windows lower. I didn't realize that the alarm is also deactivated when you do this. Pretty ****ty design by Nissan if you ask me. I was told by the parking officials, "you're lucky at least you still have your bumper and xenon lights." The same night 8 or 9 Lexus and Infiniti's had their headlights ripped out. Even one FX35 was stolen out of the lot. In standard fashion, no security patrol this $20/day lot and no security cameras are present either. Just wanted to make you guys aware if you live in the North Jersey/ NYC area.
sorry to hear about the abuse. always makes me mad when i hear about
people who would rather work hard to take what others have than work
hard to have something of their own. i live in dulles, va but i commute to
and work in d.c. i hate spending $15-20/day every day of the week when
it comes to parking in the better garages, but it is worth it for the added
security and i avoid the cheap lots like the plague.
i also avoid the park garages with the valet that disappears with your car
around the corner after handing him the key. who knows what the he11
goes on when they turn that corner. they probably have the cars packed
like sardines down there. i don't park in any garage where i can't park it
myself and know who i'm parked next to. i also love how on the ticket of
the valet garages it states they won't be held accountable for any damage
to your vehicle.. lol... even though they are the ones parking it.

i dont think the alarm is disabled, just doesnt go off unless the door comes open... or the hatch and hood
but that does suck really bad. i have my viper791 from my old car that i havent hooked up. the guy said when i get it put back on the Z, he can do the shock sensors too, i may go with the proximity sensor too
