I have a scenario for all you MT lovers out there!

Auto Z vs Manuel Z. They both see each other on the road, they come to the red light and pull up to next to each other. The AT Z tells the manuel Z that he is neatured! Both are lined up at the light, light turns green, there off, the auto starts to pull on the manuel. The guy in the manuel hears a "pshhhhh" noise after each smooth gear change from the other car. The MT driver is like wtf? The finish line is up ahead, and the AT is way ahead of the MT, the AT cross's the finish line first!

What excuse do the MT guys here have given that scenario?

Before you answer that, the moral of the story is: You cannot talk crap if it beats your ***! PERIOD!!!

so that makes it better right? Ask anyone who actively road races or auto x's what they would rather have, an auto or a manual.

if drag racing is all you plan on doing with the car the auto is the way to go. Its consistant and its easy to launch. It does not require any skill though.

The .45 is a superior cartridge over the lesser 9 mm.

If you can't stop someone with 7 rounds of 230 grain .45 ACP then you'd better call in a gunship. The 9 mm is a far more girly round with its smaller 115 grains of lead. Hardly worth mentioning in the same breath as the .45 but for the ability to get a nice third generation or better double stacked 9 mm with 14 to 18 rounds in a magazine. Fine for taking on charging lines of infantry but rather rare in actual civilian use. I suppose having the extra 7 or more rounds makes sense if you can't hit the target with the first seven.

9 mm pistol owners need more practice and more pistol!

Bullsheet reason # 2) Uh.... The AT has a turbo??

I don't really care who drives an AT or MT on these boards but I don't think that example helps your cause.

Bullsheet #2!!! Not smart? You say an auto cant have a turbo? Are you mental?
WHat are you saying?

Like I said AT guys, get your car on Steroids! All the smack talk ends when you leave your opponent in the dust! Come to think about it, those haters are probably the same guys that have those bs excuses about the WRX's when they get beyatch'ed slapped by one! Excuse #1) A sports car should never have more than two seats! #2)Those car's look ugly! #3)My car was designed for a track!
You see how the excuses start to evolve?
My point is put up or shut up!!!

well at my school, you're only a "true" racer if you have a manual. Its the dumbest crap I've ever heard and its ridiculous. The guys with a manual think that they're the sht even though they don't even know how to drive but people with auto's just dont give a damn.

I'm not mental but I'm completely lost!

I didn't say an auto can't have a turbo. (Plenty of crazy-built drag cars are auto with turbos.)

It just seems like an appropriate excuse because the heroe/ protagonist in your AT vs. MT made the distinctive *Pssssshhhhh* sound. .*shivers* So gangsta!

I think the bottom line is that some people were never taught HOW to drive a stick (and may not want to take the time to master it)....or maybe they use the Z as a daily driver on heavily congested highways.

Although I'm in the "camp" that prefers stick vs auto, IMHO..I think it's ridiculous to say "This guy is a girly man cuz he bought an auto Z".

How about we RESPECT each other's choices and leave it at that!

Besides...you can be a "girly man" and drive a stick....Just ask old Red Ascot wearin', high pitched voice havin', "I like Trixie, but have never banged her" Speed Racer..LOL

Er buddy you know that the 6 speed Z's can go on Steroids too right?

You do know how silly this sounds right???Modded AT vs Stock MT and smack talk ends? That wasnt the point of the thread...Stock to stock the manual is proven faster period....You'll also notice that usually the manual has a higher speed at the end of the 1/4 and its noticably quicker around a track and the dragstrip.......Nothing personal against the Auto Z's...Its not the cars fault the owner is a poser.

So EdgeofSanity, you can talk all kinds of ****, but you can't back it up? You don't deserve to own a Z d-bag.
