What color is your car?
If SB you may want to repaint it with the 06 black, It has a hint of metal in it, so I'm told

Silver, thats why i was thinking chrome.... because it still has the same base as the chrome needs. has anybody else seen the chrome M3?...

Oh and my VDC switch is completed i just need some help marketing it out and i will be sending about 5 out for free... just shipping charge, the 5 free switches will be for some good review and to show that it works... 5 out of the first 8 people will be getting a free switch (randomly picked) it will be priced at $28 plus shipping (rates may be increased due to the production costs, im still waiting to hear back from my friend)

the chrome color of the m3 would be a very expensive paint job, and i remember reading that it wouldn't be street legal. i'd recommend a dark blue or a silver darker than silverstone, more like the smoke color on other nissan cars. one of the guys at performance nissan has their car in smoke and it looks sick imo.

Pastel purple. And get Lambo doors while you're at it.

yes i've seen Chrome M3 both in pics and in person as well. Saw the pics @ e46fanatics.com and I saw the real thing once in Chicago.

It looked um... let's say it grabbed my attention instantly. I'm not saying it had a wow-factor. Just an attention grabber. I won't start bashing it but it was just

Personally, I wouldn't let any Chrome paint touch my car. It would be a b!tch to keep swirls and scratches away. Unless it is clear coated a million times, I wouldn't suggest painting your car chrome.

Do we have any pics anywhere of a Smoke painted Z. I have never seen that.

Wait is it the one with the Blue Performance Nissan Graphics?

why would you possibly want a mirror car? You just finished ruining a paint job that is 1000x easier to maintain. Get that **** painted matte black and you'll never have to wash it again.

Not true. That's a custom varnish job by a Swedish firm. The "silver" thing is an online rumor.

The "chrome" M3 wasn't a true chrome, which requires an electroplating to get the finish, but was a paint in which the lead content was something like 4 times the street legal limit. Good luck getting someone to paint a "chrome" car, and also good luck taking care of it. You'd need to wash and wax it daily for it to look good.

Zack (thinks chrome cars are waaay too much bling)

Huh yeah i was just concidering it. i got a HUGE insurance check in the mail a few weeks ago so im going to spend it on the Z. i never really concidered how hard it would be to keep swirls off the chrome finish and didn't know it wasn't street legal, thanks!

does anybody have a picture of the Smoked Z?.... id love to see that. although i kind of want a 1 of a kind color Z but all options are open (well most, lol)

If I could choose any custom color on a Z, it would be a deep metallic charcoal, exactly in the middle of SS and the new MB, but with quite a bit of metallic flake.
