I was just wondering if it really fair of Nissan to compare the Z to the Boxster. It's a hardtop vs a convertable. I'm waiting to see how the 350Z convertable does with a little more weight and possibly weaker chassis. What do you guys think?

 

Sure its fair: the Boxster is a "sportscar" the Z is a "sportscar."

The Boxster costs $50K the Z costs $30K.

Sounds like a comparison is more than fair. If money could buy the equivalent car, then the Porsche should be a MUCH better car.

But its not. Its worse. Go figure.

 

Whether it's appropriate or not, I think we're going to see a lot more of these this fall.
