If you had to do it again, which mod or mods would you not do again and why?

Probably getting a supercharger (Which the dealership mgr said would not void my warrenty!!! Yeah at the time!!) But then they called me back a few weeks later (I had already ordered it) To say : ""Sorry Lou, but we cant honnor your warrenty with that mod""..... I should have known from the start that it was to good to be true

 

my favorite mod had to be at least the HKS Ti- dual exhaust..makes the Z look and sound more aggressive...

 

wouldn't do headers - costs too much to install and no noticeable gain in power.

 

Would've got cheaper rims. Would have never bought Dunlop SP2000's either. Dunlops always wear out quick.

 

Same thing with the Toyo T1 S's

Intake. The stock intake is well designed, and the aftermarket ones are a lot of money for no go.

I tried the eyebrows on the headlights and promptly peeled them off. Even though they were color matched they still didn't quite look right. Plus, I have hood spacers so there was a small gap which made it look quite right. Wish I hadn't spent that $30 though when I could have saved it and used it for something else.

 

I figure that this thread could help some people just starting down the mod process by gaining your experiences.

 

I would not do the Axis Seven Mod wheels (sold). Nice wheels but offsets are not the best and you cannot fit a big brake kit behind them. Axis messed up my order twice and their customer service is not very good.

My least favorite is my stereo. I got that and then an exhaust. After I got my exhaust I am constantly turning off the stereo to hear it. Plus, if I turn up the volume too much the car rattles which is embarassing.

No regrets yet... because this forum helped me research the mods that were right to get.

 

these TIS chrome 20" badges...i thought they would add at least 10 rwhp each! ...jk...i don't really have a least favorite yet...i'm sure i'll have one though at some point...i'll have many mods coming up in the future
