Nissan refuses to replace my front tires under their replacement program
Stinks for me, my 03 Z's warrantee expired Oct 15 and the feathering warrantee expired Oct 31 and now I finally got tire roar. It's getting louder each day. I'm at 16k miles on my Z now.
It must depend on the dealer you take the car to. I dropped my car off yesterday, told them I knew about the TSB on the tires. An hour later I got a call, they replace my front tires and did the alinment. They replace my front tires with Michelin Pilot Sport AS, I didn't have to pay anything, wait to be reimbursed, or for them to order them! I signed the Warrenty Invoice that night and picked up my car. The first page of the invoice was $688.00. I also have a problem with the dome light not coming on when the door is opened. I have an aftermarket headliner, I painted the overhead console, replaced the bulbs with LED's and put aluminum tape inside so it would be brighter.....they ordered the part and my car goes back to have that fixed next week, AGAIN, NO CHARGE!!! LEN STOLER NISSAN in OWINGS MILLS MD. By the way, I bought the car used, it was shipped to me from California, and it now has 12,500 miles. I figured they would have made me pay for 1/2 the tires because of the miles they had on them. Sorry to hear about everyone elses troubles getting service from Nissan but, I'm glad I didn't have any problems.
