thats called CF style.. not rice at all.. alot of Zers on this forums got that style... CF is like a status symbol anyway... how them tuner fools gonna give u credit for CF if its not shown in CF ?

anything done out of obviously bad taste is considered rice to me

if someone got altezza style lights and make them look nice on a 350, thats fine with me, but it'll probably look like **** anyways

 

anything that doesn't make the car faster or handle better seems to be the consensus among people in my car club...people get all up in arms against borderline things like CF hoods though...can't we do things that purely look good ever?...i think tasteful looks are as important as performance when all you want is to feel good about your car

This thread could probably go on for days but, its your car, do what you will with it regardless of what anybody thinks, personally, I think the term describes useless add-on parts to your car, whether they are oversized jumbo wings the size of 747's or stickers that take over more of your car than your paint does. Anyhow, if you want chrome wheels on your Z, get em, if you want a body kit on your car cause YOU like the look of it, then get it... who cares what other people think as long as you enjoy the Z.

all those good for nothing cheap APC parts you see everywhere (Napa, Checkers, Circuit City) are rice. I can handle and even appreciate some parts that aren't functional (as in made with the purposes of making some performance aspect of a vehicle higher) but all those good for nothing, I just wanna make a buck off of the tuner industry parts are really disgusting.

It is a shame though, I used to have an rsx-s before my Z and I saw many people ruin that car. At least it is a more conservative audience that buys the Z.
