Body Kits - Add weight, add drag (most cases) alter the looks of an already beautiful design.

Neon - Don't even know what to say about that.

Having said that, to each thier own. Cars in America are status symbols and it is not uncommon for people (especially young males) to personalize thier vehicles. I am a purest and to me non-functional add ons equal RICE. But that is just my opinion.

Lol j/k man. Not that many unless you get like clear corner tail lamps or a universal muffler lol. Also to me stickers are rice. Oh yeah neon and some body kits... not all. Some kits actually do something to the car.

ehh.. besides wings they replace the originals. My aftermarket bumper is more ideal for intercoolers when I go FI later, oem isn't. and I got rid of enforcement bar, which makes it lighter. My rear bumper is design to prevent exhaust burns when I get my HKS. saying bodykit isn't functional is a wrong statement.

some guy at the bar last night told me he traded in his Z for an SUV. That may not be rice, but it sucks.

I have the best of both worlds, I have my big and burly 1998 Chevy Tahoe. And now I have a beautiful white 2004 350Z. Now as far as rice goes, anything that looks like it is a cheap add on that makes it look like it is out of a Sears catalog.
