Nissan said that accidentally rolling down the window with your remote was harmless. But rolling them up with body parts or children wedged between could be trouble.

Also, it was about 3 months between when I bought my Z and when it first rained here, so it took me a little while to realize how slippery those Bridgestones can be in wet weather.

Where is the button?

The button is right above the license plate under the ledge than hangs out from the rear deck. It's has a rubber cover to it.

Here's one I just remembered. If you use the remote to unlock the doors and don't open either door or the rear hatch, they will automatically relock themselves after 1 minute.

I think all cars do that now.

Here's one I just found last night. If you press the Display button on the radio a couple of times, the call letters of the radio station you're listening to come up on the screen. Not very useful, but a new discovery for me.

Dont want to go back to see if its a repost:

If you hold down both the open & lock buttons on your remote it will stop your horn from sounding when you arm your alarm using the remote. Its nice when you get home at 3:00 a.m. drunk and dont want to wake up the wife!

I think that changes the settings. You can also hit the lock button while the door is opened and then shut it to activate the alarm without the horn.
