Default I got it today

Finally, after four full months of waiting, I got my Lemans Sunset Touring (5AT, Navigation, aero package, all other available options).

I'm thrilled and scared at the same time. My prior car, a Lexus RX300, is, obviously, as far from a rear wheel sports car as you can get.

First impressions.

1)This is a lot of car. I need to get used to this kind of power and handling.

2)The Bose seems fine to me so far. I'm no audiophile. But I didn't hear any problems with the system. My VIN# is in the 8,000s, so I think it comes with the fix pre-installed.

3)There was a light freezing rain falling when I was driving home. I could feel the rear end getting away from me once when I had to brake and swerve to avoid a guy cutting into my lane in heavy traffic.

4)The sound of a sports car is so cool and so different from the regular cars I've driven up until now.

5)I revved the engine up to 5,000 momentarily, well above the break in guidelines. Oh well. I really feel like break in is an antiquated idea given the tolerances and performance of modern engines.

6)I leave Brooklyn for Tunica, Mississippi in a week in the Z.

Congratulations. The fear will disappear shortly.
