Default Track vs Touring........Brakes!!!

OK...I was set on purchasing an S2000 until the local Honda dealer decided to drag their feet. Now I am ready to put money down on a Z (I SAW THE LIGHT!) but can't decide which model to purchase. Nissan really should have allowed for more options on these cars. Here is the problem:

I will be using the car as a daily driver and therfore would love the extra comforts of the touring model....but I also will be autocrossing on the weekends and have heard bad things about the brakes. Does it make more sense to purchase the Touring and upgrade the brakes and rims or Buy the track and get aftermarket leather. I know the latter will be less costly, but can I get better rims and brakes for a good price? How is the aftermarket looking for the Z right now? Are there a lot of choices out there? Anyone out there tell me how the stock brakes are on the track vs the "Brembos"?

HAven't heard anything but good reviews for the brakes by autocrossers, owners, and magazines. DO a search on Brembos and most will be positive reviews.

I have a Track, so I may be a little biased....

I say go for the Track, get the Rays & Brembos, and upgrade it from there as you wish. From all I've heard the "upgraded" stereo in the Touring ain't all that great, so you're better off going after-market with that anyway, and you probably don't need the bun-warmers (heated seats) living in Las Vegas.

BUT: I suggest that you at least try the seats in the Track before you slap after-market leather on them. They are very nice and hold you like you're in your mommy's arms. You'll slide off that leather in an autoX.
