NO TCS OFF button on Track model
Confused i read on one of threads that the track model has no TCS off button.
Haven't received my packet, nor my confirmation, am very jealous right now, but thanks for all the new photos of the Le Mans.

This is really interesting...
In Japan -- there will be 4 models ...
The Base and Version T... only have TCS (traction control system)
Versions S and ST (higher priced versions with the Brembos)....
have the VDC (vehicle dynamic control) -- but no TCS.
I wonder why ?? No other info is available regarding this at this time.

Intrepid is correct. On the Enthusiast, the button only turns off TCS because it doesn't have VDC. On the other models (excluding Base) the button turns off TCS/VDC. The G35 is the same way. Saw a thread on Freshalloy awhile back where G35 owners were discussing this.

I'm 99% posative you can turn off the TCS off in the track, i think they just listed it that way since the performance, T 6-speed, and the track have the DSC, you can turn that off, and of course the TCS that that is inclutded in the "lower" models...or there is just one button.
One button does it all! I never brought this up before, but I did take note of it when we had access to the car. Read Doug's post on the earlier thread about driving the car. He talks about having the tcs and vdc off.
Traction (TCS) deals with straight line wheel spin, preventing your wheels from spinning when you attempt to rocket out from a red light stop. VDC is a yaw control, a computer is fed information from all of the other electronics and detects over/understeer, and acts accordingly, applying the brakes, cutting engine power. When done right, such as on the Z6, it can help the less than profesional drivers obtain better times, without intruding on the fun too much, but when your just lookin to have some fun on the backroads, and want that car to be a little tail happy, then by all means turn it off, but I would definately leave both on for rainy situations.
I always assumed that we would we able to turn the TCS off if desired in the new Z.
However now that the specs have been released I am hoping that's correct. The Adobe spec sheet shows TCS off indicator only for enthusiast and touring 5at.
I sure hope those of us with other models will be able to turn TCS off as desired.
