I have seen several notes on the total amount of 350Z's to be built for the 2003 model year. They mention 25,000-30,000. but I just spoke to my friend who runs the parts department at the Nissan dealership where I bought my "Z" and he said they received a letter from Nissan stating that fewer than 30,000 will be available WORLDWIDE!! So.. This will make the 350Z much less available than we first thought.. So, I figure we will be lucky to have 18-22,000 in the US. And judging by the serial numbers I have seen so far, this appears to look correct.

I have mine now for 3 1/2 months and have not seen another one on the road (except for the 8 who met at the nassau meet in November). I have seen 3 parked and I live 15 miles north of New York City!! and.. I have 4350+ miles on it.. But I have seen 12... yes 12 new Hummer H2's!!

According to Nissan sales news in *North America*, there were 10,138 before Dec. 2002 (plus 3 in 2001, hehe). Dec. is a slow car sales month, so I doubt there are more than 11-12k.

 

The total I posted is for the entire 2003 model year not cars that have been built to date..
