Someone in a post said this is an exciting time. I completely agree. Starting with the C&D article of a couple of days ago (ignoring the frolic and detour of what Jay should or should not post), continuing yesterday, and today when people started getting their packages from Nissan, the MotorWeek preview today and then on to July 3rd when the infamous embargo lifts...IS GONNA BE COOL. After the embargo lifts we will probably be swamped with articles about the Z over the next few weeks. Then sometime in August or September people are gonna first start getting their Zs. People will be posting their personal opinions, and hopefully letting others Zers from their area come by and see the Zs. And then sometime after that...I WILL BE GETTING MY Z. Like I said, the next couple of months are gonna be cool (UNLESS OF COURSE, I JUST CAN'T STAND IT AND EXPLODE).

One other point, I think its cool that we are all a part of something historic. I mean has there ever been a pre-order program where not only 6500 cars were sold virtually sight unseen, but then have sites like this were we could all chat, obsess and share what meager info we have. I don't know about the rest of you...but personally I think the whole process RAWKS.... but I still want my car.

 

I'm aging in dog years waiting for my Z. At this rate I'll be dead by the time September comes around.

I barely see my wife anymore, I can't sleep at nights and the grass in my back yard is higher than August corn in Illinois.

Wish I had a time machine.

 

I for one have fallen way behind at work but I think it's been worth it. The best things really are worth waiting for.

Often said that... planning and anticipation are half the fun.

Next couple of months will be fun reading the performance reviews.

Z goes on sale in Japan July 30....

By then... I am going to feel like I did when I was a teenager.. Now !! .. I am tired of the tease game -- I want it now.

I would have to think that is almost a direct reference to My350Z.com. (Okay, maybe some other Z sites too ) Where else would people be getting 'up to date' info if it wasn't on the internet?

Will have to do a search of old ZISME posts to see if he ever used "iota" in a thread.

Only found one use of iota on zcar and it wasn't ZISME. But I agree with your general point, I am wondering if the CD info packet was a direct result of this forum and ZCAR. Care to comment, ZISME?
