They don't have a price on it yet but imagine having this for Track Days or just driving the backroads.
XTREMEX3 system is a light-weight, easy to use, on-vehicle multimedia data acquisition system that records, stores and plays back synchronized four-camera digital broadcast quality video, two-channel digital audio, and vehicle and on-board sensor data, including MPH, RPM, lateral Gs, brake, throttle, steering and track-position mapping.
Chris
I found the FAQ and converted it to text (why they need a 3mb PDF to explain this I have no idea, marketing guys kill me).
The price is going to make or break this thing. (also the price of replacement cameras someone might want to mount low to the ground for that Miami Vice angle.

We designed the system to look cool when it’s on your vehicle.
Where is XTREMEX3 manufactured?
Virginia, USA.
What’s included when I order an XTREMEX3 system?
XTREMEX3 is a turn-key system. Everything you need to record multi-camera on-board video, digital audio, and data acquisition is included in the box: multimedia cameras, operator control unit, data acquisition unit, cables, connectors, brackets, flash media card, configuration application, player application, and installation and operator manuals.
Can I start with one multimedia camera and add cameras?
Yes. You can add multimedia cameras at your convenience and the player will accommodate additional multimedia camera images.
What data outputs are included with XTREMEX3?
MPH, RPM, and lateral Gs represent XTREMEX3’s standard data outputs. XTREMEX3 also delivers dynamically-created track maps and vehicle position.
What else do I need with an XTREMEX3 system?
You need a PC with flash media card reader. You’ll need a PC with a DVD burner if you want to play the multimedia content on a TV with a DVD player. You can add data sensors – speed sensor, beacon transmitter – at your convenience; adding peripherals to XTREMEX3 helps the system to deliver incrementally accurate MPH and lap times. Speed sensor and beacon receiver are available at www.xtremex3.com.
Does the XTREMEX3 system HAVE to collect on-board data?
No. If there is no sensor data acquired, the player will play back multi-camera video, digital audio and standard data outputs. You can add and configure data sensors at your convenience and the system will automatically synchronize the data with the video and the player will automatically accommodate the outputs.
Can I use XTREMEX3 with brake, throttle and steering position sensors?
Not yet.
Do I need to add a digital video recorder to the XTREMEX3 system?
No.
How much does the XTREMEX3 system weigh?
A one-camera system weighs about 1.7 lbs, excluding cables and brackets. A four-camera system weighs about 2.2 lbs.
Where should I install the XTREMEX3 system on my vehicle?
You can install the XTREMEX3 multimedia cameras inside or outside of the vehicle and even under the hood; we provide a series of brackets that you can use to mount to different parts on your vehicle, including roll bar. You should install the operator control unit on or near the dash to access the start and stop buttons. You can install the multimedia data fusion unit under the dash or seat or in the trunk.

Yes. See technical specifications for PC requirements.
Can I play XTREMEX3 output on a TV?
Yes (excluding the data), if you burn the content to a DVD.
Does XTREMEX3 support NTSC and PAL video standards?
Yes.
Will the XTREMEX3 system deliver “real-time” video output to my in-car video screen?
Yes. The system provides a “video out” port that plays the video on practically any in-car video system that has a “video input.”
Why should I buy XTREMEX3 instead of a data acquisition system?
Data acquisition suffers from basic challenges that inhibit widespread usage across all racing segments: difficult to install, difficult to interpret, difficult to manipulate, no video, and expensive. Unfortunately, most data acquisition vendors continue to focus on adding capabilities rather than making existing capabilities easier to use.
Data without video is data without context!
Why should I buy XTREMEX3 instead of an on-board video system?
On-board video systems are expensive but fragile systems that capture only one view and offer no data acquisition.
What’s the difference between data analysis and driver analysis?
Data acquisition products deliver DATA analysis. Although gifted analysts can interpret data and provide guidance about a driver’s strengths and weaknesses, data acquisition products provide feedback without visual context. The lack of visual evidence makes it difficult for analysts to assess differences in performance between the driver and the car. XTREMEX3 delivers DRIVER analysis. Humans are visual animals and racers, in particular, intuitively respond to visual stimulation. With the combination of synchronized data, multi-camera video, and audio, XTREMEX3 converts data analysis to driver analysis. With video and audio, XTREMEX3 gives drivers the power to analyze their own performance.
What is XTREMEX3 NOT?
XTREMEX3 is NOT a data acquisition product with video and audio strapped on or overlaid as an afterthought – we
created XTREMEX3 from scratch using cutting-edge technologies designed specifically to synchronize audio, video,
and data.
XTREMEX3 is NOT a complex data acquisition product – there are numerous complicated, high-priced data acquisition
systems available from other vendors.
XTREMEX3 is NOT a simple, single on-board camera that’s connected to a digital video recorder – our turn-key system captures and synchronizes four video views, two audio channels and multiple data sensor inputs.
