What type of gas do you use?
I've been doing some field testing of which gas performs the best at the best gas mileage. So far Chevron and Citgo gas seem to be the best while the worst has been Hess (by far). What do you think?

I was planning on using Mobil. I think that's the same as Exxon (Esso for those in Canada or Puerto Rico).

The raw gas from the pipeline is the same, the finished product, shipped to the station, is different.
They each use their own additives to attain the different octane ratings, and performance. Some are better than others, much better in fact.
It's all about the additives.
I have found the Exxon and BP/Amoco 93 allow my car to run it's best.

I've always been a Chevron user (for many years) until this Shell station near my house started lowering their prices like crazy. I've been going there for a few months now and have noticed a consistent improvement in gas mileage! About an additional mile per gallon according to the Z's computer...

From what I've read Arco does not use Saudi oil, and I've gone with them since. I guess I'd rather help the drug cartels than our Saudi friends.

I use Chevron exclusively. My Z33 seems to like it but my 4WD turbo Celica LOVES it.
