Default Touch up paint

When I bought my Z it was right after hurricane Katrina, so I had some debris scratches on the car which they took off for. When I went and got it looked at by a body shop they said it was done by shingles and the best way to do it was to repaint the whole car. This was my dads friend so I dont think he would lie to me. I was wondering if anyone knows if shingles scratches can be repared, b/c it seems as though they went straight through the paint in some spots and I dont want to be able to tell that they were there. What about the touch up pens and bottles of paint?? Do those actually work, or is it a waste of time??

those must have been some light weight shingles!! heeh
anyway wouldnt that be covered under insurance??
if so why turn down a new paint job????? rather than touch up spots all over?

it would take much more time/ labor to use touch up all over the car and make it look invisible..

or am i missing something?

and JASON lol do you ever miss a chance to push a product? lol j/K

I bought the Z with the scratches on it, so Technically I "can't" claim it on my insurance.

touch up paint is not a miracle => if you come closer you will be able to notice the difference.

saves people from spending twice as much for the same stuff from other sites :-/

you can just nail polish this paint on... but, what makes it look best is if you buff it after it dry's and get it to be as smooth as the rest of your paint....

so it all depends on the application...
