i just bought my Z last week and i am looking at all you guys's pictures and your cars look amazing. I got a couple of noob questions. What exactly is this popcharger i read about? Is it a full intake or is it just a filter of some sort? Where is a good place to look for new rims? What sizes do you recommend? Last questions, as far as window tints go, how does the darkness rating work? is 30% darker than 15%? Some states have laws about how much you can tint don't they?

3) Yes, window tint laws vary by state. I can never keep track of if one tint is darker than another... but if you ask the place you go to get the tint done they can help you get what you are looking for.

 

Rims - 19's seem to be popular. Depends if you want performance or mor of look. Here is what I think 18 light weight for performance. 20's for all out show. 19's for both. Most people will recomend a 9.5 front and 10.5 rear. IMO that's what looks best. (you will need to research offset aswell. all depends on what look you want)

Tint - 15% is darker than 30%. Ask a tinter person they will know the law for your state.

- The number means how much light passes through the tint. 20 percent allows 20 percent of the light to pass.

I think you're talking about the Varis air duct. Several members have it yes. Again search for photos.

 

No the air duct is not necessary with the popcharger.
