Default Another drinking and driving Z thread

When will people ever learn. Come on, DRINKING AND DRIVING KILLS!

Found this off another forum, which will remain nameless.

"Well here we go.......Yes i had been drinkn...Not drunk but had been drinking....anyway...i was heading back to my buddies appt...and a Sentra SE-R passed driving crazy as hell well my passengers egged me on (NO EXCUSE AT ALL)
i chased him through a few streets....finally into a parking lot...He turned in first.....I cought the next turn lane and pulled in.....went around the median ....and put my foot in the gas.....50 foot burn mark....back end turned on me to the right corrected....(BALD TIRES DON'T HELP EITHER IN THIS SITUATION)....back end came around...I hit the concrete median that surrounds the flower beds and ****....the thing that is about 6-8 inches tall.....front hit first....right up under the left front fender ( killed the skirt..fender ...inner fender..attachments).......then the back end came around and tagged the rear tire......

My rear tire was positve camber at like 30 degrees....(BENT STABALIZER ROD AND CAMBER ADJUST ROD....I WILL HAVE PICS UP SOON AS POSSIBLE).....

front end .....inner and outer tie rods.....spindle cracked in half by the outer tie rod socket and lower ball joint connect
there is about a 1 1/2cm distance b/t the two and 1 cm thickness .....think about this snapped 1cm of aluminum thats what happened....

both rims bent and scuffed badly

time for some enkie's hehe

i will have pics up soon as i get my camera back from sisters house

any way I put new parts on fixed the suspension .....not the fender yet....

alignement is screwed....I may have bent my frame a very little bit....they can't correct my toe....so I ordered a toe bolt to adjust my rear toe so she should be good as new ( well driving wise ) soon

LIFE SUCKS .....LESSON LEARNED

ALCOHOL = $80.....WRECKED CAR ....**** I DON'T KNOW YET PRICE IS STILL ADDING UP

everyone was ok tho....just my pride and heart

to answer the passengers....yes i was in my Z.....second i did have 2 passengers....buddy sitting in passengers seat...my girlfriend...half way sitting on his lap...and leaning over the console....

before we left I didn't want to take my car but we had no other car to take....my g/f's car was a hour away.....didn't take into mind that we were going to go out to a bar....

I told her the day after I would never drink and drive again and i haven't yet....

O I smartened up alright....I did drink two beers the other night but that was it .....Like 1craZguy said 2 beers and thats it....

thanks for the concern everyone.....I am still working on her....I have a lot of work to do now....to get her back to normal

and another thing my girlfriend broke up with me too....don't know why but she wanted some space

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!.....wreck your car ...lose your girl....bills stacking up

LIFE IS GREAT!!!!......

signed .....MENTALLY BURNT"

I know Jonathan personally. He's not a kid. Immature? maybe. Irresponsible? probably. I'd bet he's not the first one to make such a stupid mistake and won't be the last either.

I got to see his car last week after the accident. It's amazing how much stuff can get damaged just by hitting a little curb. Aluminum makes our car light but it's very easily bent.

Never, never drink and drive. You are rolling the dice every time you do. The odds are against you and sooner or later you are going to crap out. Designated driver, or taxi if you want to go out and drink. 10 years as a beer salesman experience from me to you.
(and 1 totaled car).

Sorry to thread jack. but I encountered a drunk driver who hit my rearend last weekend. Hit and run of course. I was at a stop light when the idiot tapped my bumper, reversed, and then smashed into the back trying to get around. I was able to give chase and get his license plate. The kind police officer put all his info on the police report.

Thumbs down

Tell Jonathan's Mommy & Daddy to get him a Toyota Echo.....He should lose ALL rights to drive a Z or ANY OTHER sports car (or sportscoupe, for that matter).

This kid sounds like a liability....
