Default Tire Pressure Alert

Not sure if it's a flaw in the sensor, bad tires or just me, but the tire pressure sensor on my new Z sounds off way too often. When the air tempature drops it's almost a given that it will sound off. I understand that air contracts when it cools, but this is ridiculous. My wifes car has the sam feature, and it never trips. Is it the low profile tires, bad design or should I take it to the dealer only to have them add air until the light goes out. It appears to trigger even with a 1lb difference. Please advise.

Default Air Pressure alert

The Beeep is part of the alert, at least thats what the book says. My issue is that if a 1 to 2 lb fluctuation is causing it, thats bad. After I drive for a little while and the tires warm up, the pressure returns, and sometimes the light will go away. The manual really does not explain this feature very well, including how to tell if it's the right or left tire. The little arrow on the computer is not correct and it does not explain how to reset it other than adding air. I have 19" chrome rims with Bridgstone Potenza's

How much pressure do you actually have in your tires? My guess is that you only have 30 psi. Once the temperature drops, the pressure drops below 28psi and that triggers the warning.

Yep, I concurr. Hope that is your issue as that is an easy fix. Just put 35psi in all 4 tires early in the morning before driving. BEN
