The Z Falls Again to the Rustang

In that case, Honda Civics destroyed mustangs since like 10 years ago.
These articles tend to be a bit biased. Most of the people writing them are looking for a good family performer that will provide ease in your everyday life. When you compare the Z and the Stang they are two different cars. You will notice in every article, whether it’s Motortrend or Car and Driver that the Mustang will usually win. The reasons they sight are price, comfort and convenience. But as you read further though these critics also all clarify that the Z is the true winner as “sports car”. Without a doubt the Z is a better performer as a sports car but definitely loses out as a family cruiser.

When I went to sell the Z I found out its major weekness. The resale value sucked. Being only three years old, bone stock, and less than 9000 miles on it all I could get out of it was $22k. It was on the Market for 5 months at $25k This puts it right in line with the mustang. Poor resale value.[QUOTE]
How do you have a 2003 that is three years old when it is 2005?

It's how you can buy 2006 cars when it's not 2006 yet. Same principle. Somebody probably bought the 2003 Z in fall of 2002.

i was thinking for awhile to trade a Z for a stang GT.. or a 2003-04 cobra...mmm ... i love those cobra's.
i had a v6 2000 stang before, bought it brand new, sold it 3 years later after putting 60k miles on it with no problems at all, I had nothing (!!!) that gone wrong with the car in 3 years... NOTHING. I dont have anything against a mustang, besides the fact that they are everywhere.

this is the best description of an american car ive ever heard, i had this arguement with a friend recently and this is exactly how i explained it. piece of garbage on a big engine. niiiiice call.
Lol somehow this is breaking news that the trendiest car outside of the honnda civic in Tampa FL is getting beat out by the Z. I would sure as hell hope so. There are still people being raised from birth with the mentality that mustangs are life I dont see that same following for the Z plus the fact you can get a mustang for as low as the mid-teens makes it quite a bit more accessible. I'm all about having a rareish car so this to me should be a given.
