Maybe my tastes are a little differ from everyone else's, but I actually don't mind the black license plate holder. Put mine on the other day, and it looks good. Not as good as without the holder, but cops in Canada are pretty picky about such things, and I *really* don't need any more problems crossing the border.

No front plate tickets bug me too...I understand why they are handing them out though so I can't complain. For me I got four tickets on my G coupe (which I got rid of in July) and only one on my Z so far...

For all the SOCAL people reading this...avoid LAX if you don't have a front plate, 3 of the 4 I got on my coupe were from LAX either driving through (which I tried to avoid) or by parking in of the of lots near the terminals...

Needless to say I get rides now when I'm going to LAX...

Good advice.
not only for no front plates....LAX sucks big time.
i got a ticket at the loading and unloading zone just as i stepped outside my car to stretch my back. LAX sucks.

1 year in texas w/o a front plate no problem, though I heard they are going to change the law soon, I don't know.

lol, You are just lucky. Texas has had a front plate law for a few years already. Any change from that would be good but don't count on it. All these red light cameras and new automated technology to catch speeders a the like will make any change unlikely also. I'm just glad that we don't have the automated fixed photoradar things set up on our freeways yet. I'd have a ticket every single day. 60mph? no friggen way
