Default Guy to Girl Ratio

I was in the Oklahoma City area today. Saw 3 350's today. One red, One silverstone and one PP white roadster. All were driven by women. I this an aberration, or is am I driving a chick-mobile? No offense intended to the ladies out there.

Hey, don't knock the Automatic! It gives me both hands free to use the vanity mirror to put on my makeup!!!

j/k

The only Z's I've seen have been driven by guys or parked, so I'd say it's just coincidence. But I have seen a suprising number of Mustangs driven by women.

Either way, I still love my car. If the women love it too, I'm not going to complain.

ditto with echo853, i see an abundant amount of females here in the sanfrancisco, ca bay area driving mustangs and less then a handful driving Z's. Z's are not girly cars...miata's are, and the new mx-5 is no exception haha; great handling and balance, but feminine like curves, in a female endearing sort of way

p.s.: simply my .02 cents, of course ~__^

When I proudly reported to a (male) friend my recent purchase of a Z, he off-handedly commented, "Oh, yeah, that chick car." My response: WTF?

Since his comment, I've been looking at other Z car drivers to try to assess the same thing, and have seen more men than women, though not by an overwhelming factor.

I will say that my female friends seem to have an affinity for the Z (asking when they get to go for a ride, etc) that they probably wouldn't have for other sports-type cars...I think the Z may be a bit more "approachable" for women...

Just my observations based on my own experiences...

Funny, from your screen name, I would have guessed you were a woman.

But then women always appreciate the more refined things in life. The Mustang and the Corvette were written off my list as being too rough and crude ... the Mustang a better effort, the 'vette looking like the designer died after designing the front of the car to say about the B pillar.

Here in SoCal it's young guys and "mature" ladies from what I've seen.

Out of the couple of hundered Z I have seen, I have only seen about 5 girls driving them. Now as for G35C's it is about half and half.

Oh, and out of those 5 girls driving the Z's. My wife is one of them and loves the car.
You know, I don't mind her driving it either. She hasn't had a accident in 25 years of driving and takes really good care of it. My cars are clean and she has always keeps them clean like me. That was one of the things I liked about her when I was dating her. The fact that she had a nice car and kept it clean. She had a super clean Supra and Camaro..... so you know she is cool .....

funny, lately I've seen quite a few women driving Z's also. I mentioned to a friend of mine who drives a Z coupe that it looks like the Z is really becoming a chick car... and he took offense (kinda like a kick in the nuts), and then insisted they must all be automatics :ffftt::

'splain please... what exactly IS it about this car that surprises so many guys that women want to drive them?!?

Mecinoid.... Your wife and I led parallel past lives

I like women that know about nice cars. I mean come on guys. Don't you like to see a girl in a Z, Vette, Camaro, Firebird, Cuda, Mustang(Don't hate me), SL, or just plain nice sports car?

What interesting about the girls that I loved in my life is that all of them owned Firebirds, or Camaros at one time or another. Of course that isn't why I loved them but, interesting anyways. I didn't figure that one out until a couple of weeks ago looking back through those old pictures.

Ah, Brunette's or Redheads in Yellow cars or Blonds in Dark colored cars drive me crazy. Lol !!!! My wife loves to dye her hair so I get the best of all worlds.

We were watching a movie last night she said "That an Impala. Bet you didn't think I knew that huh. Lol !!! I have been hanging around you too long huh?"
My response, "Not long enough sweetheart, it won't ever be too long."
Then she hit me..... "What?!!"

Night guys, got to get off the computer .... she just said time for bed.

It's that damn Desperate Housewives show!

I had some punk kid ask me one time "what kind of car do you drive??".
Once I proceeded to tell him,
He goes "No offense but I think it's a womanized car, unless modified."

This is the same kid who couldn't handle a BMW 318...ended up crashing it into some restaurant.

"Stick to your 318 buddy..."

My wife takes mine out too and always has guys either hitting on her or trying to race her. She looks hot in it though, so Ican't blame them, especially topeless....the car that is...

I read a motor sports article saying that half of all 350Z buyers a women. Interesting when you consider that maybe 1 in 100 forum members are women.

Your Z is a chick car, sell it to me fast dirt cheap, my wife needs her own Z so she stops taking mine out.. ...

Bottom line is the Z is a good looking car and that attracts women m(either to buy or ride), and what attracts women is always good...

next time you're at a gas stop or rest stop and see a female Z, drive up to her and start a conversation...

Everyday I see at least 3 or 4 roadsters on the way home from work. And 100% of the time it is a chick, and what's worse is that also 99.9999% of the time they all have factory chrome wheels.
