Default I Might Do Something Stupid Today

Hey guys ive been a Z owner ever since ive been driving. But this past weekend I test drove a EVO 9. I really liked it and im going back today to work out numbers and let the dealer look at my Z. What does every one think EVO 9 or should I keep my 350Z?

It all depends on what you want. You got quite a bit of money in your Z (from looking at your mods). That's something you need to think about. Unless you part your car out, you'll most likely lose out on all of your mods. Especially if you trade it in. The Evo is more of a performer (out the box), but your Z ain't stock. Your Z should out-perform any stock Evo. The thing is though, for your Z to get any faster than where it's at, you're going to have to invest some serious cash, where as the Evo cost MUCH LESS to modify. And on the 4G63 (Evo engine), you cold save a lot of money doing mods youself. Very easy to work with. Also, it's a very proven power-maker, and will last with upgrades (my DSM is going on 100k, daily driven (HARD) at 16 PSI). Looks-wise, the Z makes Evos look like turds. What kind of "racing" are you into? Each car has it advantages/disadvantages. Launching? Evo. Top speed/highway? Z. Handling? Evo. Drifting? Z. You can find +'s/-'s for both (mind you, I'm talking stock-for-stock). You got a family? Might make life a little easier with foor doors. AWD is also safer. If you're single, stick with the Z. Hope I helped some.

the Z has a lot more style man... Evo's are nice to drive, but that's about it. to me a car is bad@$$ when ur in it and out of it.
plus a Z modded up right will hang if not beat an Evo...give or take a few mods.

+1, I would wait to see what they are coming out with. You might regret buying the evo 9. I personally like the concept.

Seems like your decision is already made. If you don't lose that much money on the Z, I say make the move. Variety is good.

both are good cars IMO but they are also diff.

i test drove a evo 8 and i took some turns at very high speed and i honestly dont think the z could have done what i did with the car on the turns!

so like everyone is saying, it all depends on what you want... looks....power.... room... etc.

good luck and let us know what you think...

That could be true, but she'll probably regret not making a switch as well.

everyone keep telling that mod Z will hang with the EVO!!?? it is expensive to Mod a Z and don't you think it is also possible to Mod the EVO!!!?? it is cheaper to put the EVO to low 12's than put a Z to the low 12's... and you can't compare the engine. Honestly I'm not impress with the VQ engine in terms of FI.
