Jeez...I hope this isn't the case, though it sounds plausible. "We're sorry sir, the repair unfortunately isn't covered under warranty because Nissan doesn't let us overcharge them. Hell they take their sweet *** time with warranty work too. I remember setting at Mayse-Earnhart Chevy-GMC-Caddy getting wiring harness replaced on my 1st car, I was 16 so I wasn't allowed a rental (jackasses) so I was stuck setting at the dealer for 7 hours while they put in a new wiring harness..

I bet they didnt tell you your 100K mile warranty included a $90 deductable PER PROBLEM they find to be covered that you want fixed. I found this out when I had a problem.

It's because warranty work is billed at a flat rate to the corporation, which is usually a lot lower than if a customer was paying for it out of pocket.

I didn't have time to dispute the charges as I was on lunch picking the car up. I wish I hadn't signed anything. For the record the estimate was $100.

I'm sure even if he sways my way it'll be "a check is in the mail sir."
