Holy crap, the Hemi is still a bad @ss after all of these years. Wonder what would happen if you squeezed a hemi into a Z????????

I ain't gonna lie, I love that Audi V8 engine too *thumbsup*

As for an engine mod, I bet that less than 2% of drivers ever try something like that.

I dont think they designed it, the VQ series engines existed before Renult was in the picture. The VQ30DE was around in the mid 90s (which as stated, it has won every year since the program started from Wards)

ha sanyone race one of them yet or test drive one?

* Mazda Motor Corp.: 2.3L DISI turbocharged DOHC I-4 (Mazdaspeed 6)

There was one at the dealer .. lots of room.. very elegant and aggresive.. unlike evo and sti's.. interior was so so.. follow the same look/design as the new 06 miatas and rx8's.

Soon we'll see these on the street competting vs our cars and sti' evos... i wonder how strong the block is and how much boost it can run totally stock, (fuel pump, injectors ecu etc etc).

Was going to test drive it but for some reason i guess mazda does not sell to well over here.. so the mazda and the lincoln dealership are combined.. so we normally have to wait for the lincoln sales guys to come help us and give us test drives.. and they all seem like... they don't really care.. its almost like they autoamtically think we are not going to buy the cars but to just look at them.. when my gf test drove the rx8.. it was like he was going along just to waste time (joy ride) he did'nt give us any info about the car prices, etc he just sat there and gave us the directions. so i did'nt bothering asking him if i could test drive the MS 6

CarMax.. is like totallly opposite..

Thanks CAN0802.......interesting note here, no award for Chevrolets 500hp motor (LS2?)? Interesting........I know a lot of testing went into the Cobalt motor(land speed records set and such), but I thought the same level of testing went into the Corvette motor(race testing, etc).
